In today, so called modern time, most men like
dating sexy, beautiful women with short haircuts, zero figure or sometimes even
with plus size clothing. And there is a proud moment for a man, when he meets
one of the hottest women seeking for men.
But, there are few men and women, who think
about women – as quench for lust. This might be a bitter truth, but this is due
to belief of such few people that women are still considered inferior to men.
This is the reason, they are unsafe and vulnerable to violence, rape and mental
harassment.
To uplift and encourage women, various steps are being taken worldwide. International Women’s Day is the best example for it. But, we must be hopeful for the day to come, when women will share equal opportunities as men do, in every aspect, then there will be no reason to celebrate such day.
Going on the same track to provide equal
opportunity to women, the cabinet has approved to 33% reservation for women in
police forces across seven Union Territories. This will surely ignite some
sparks in girls, who think of themselves as bold ladies not just on the basis of
their skinny body, sexy halloween clothes or shoes but for their right
attitude, loyalty, commitment, logical mind and an emotionally self-driven
approach.
At present in Delhi, Police hold just only 5.33% i.e. 6300 policewomen against the sanctioned 33% i.e. 27000 policewomen in a force with a total strength of about 82,000 personnel.
It is believed that home ministry will likely find it quite challenging to recruit so many women for police force. Since, most women have negative perception of police as career option, as it requires rigorous field work, physical workout and exposure to challenging tasks such as encounter with armed criminals, so they avoid such committed jobs and tend to focus on safe and leisure job.
But, today’s bold ladies have to admit this fact, that there are some unsocial elements present within us, who are repeatedly disturbing the peace, beauty and sanity of women. So there is need to unite all women and eradicate such elements from our society.
Men and women can never be equal, they are not meant to be equal, rather they ought to do equal, together in fields, which are same. It is true that biologically, male and female bodies are different and they have varying stamina and potentials. But, there are already many women doing amazing job in this field. Aspiring ladies should make them their Ideal and follow them and encourage other women to join them in their circle.
Gradually, a seed of revolution will be sown and it will grow, when both and men and women will equally participate to fight against domestic violence, dowry, rape, terrorism and corruption. Then, that day is not far, when we will attain universal peace, harmony and wisdom.
